Sail Solomons will hold its 2014 Open House on Saturday, May 3rd from 12 – 4 pm at their dockside location at Zahniser’s Yachting Center (245 C St, Solomons).  This is a great opportunity to climb aboard the Sail Solomons fleet of cruising yachts and daysailers. Prospective new sailors and salty sailors can learn the details of the Sail Solomons sailing club, yacht charters, daysailer rentals, sailing courses, and Caribbean flotillas.

We’ll have our season kick-off BBQ starting at 5 pm –  we’ll provide grilled chicken and soft beverages;  BYOB and bring a dish to share!  Share in the festivities, meet some new Shipmates and start off the new sailing season!

Sail Solomons is an American Sailing Association (ASA) accredited school, awarded “Outstanding School” and “Outstanding Instructors” for 6 consecutive years!  The school offers a full range of courses from novice to advanced, including group and private instruction on boats ranging from 22’ to 47’. On Your Own Boat instruction is popular among boat owners who’d like to polish their skills on their own sailboats.

The sailing club is a fun, economical way for sailors to get out on the water without the hassle and expense of boat ownership. Club options are available for daysailers or cruising boats, depending the sailor’s interest and level of experience. The Sail Solomons club has evolved into a very successful social sailing community!
